This dual-purpose stainless steel scribe features a pointy tip that can be used for marking leather or applying edge paint. Additionally, the back of the scribe is designed with a rotary knurled end for applying edge paint on thicker edges.

Sturdy and weighty, I was pleasantly surprised by how hefty it was. It's not a replacement for all awls, but it seems it'll do a good job at marking. Very ergonomic, I prefer this over my old awl for marking.

Such a handy tool to have on my work bench. I don't grab it all the time but do find myself grabbing it more and more. Have not had a chance to use the edge paint end but will soon.
